SMOKING/WEIGHT
Smoking - Since smoking is both physical and mental, success in a stop-smoking program must change not only the mental attitude, but also the physical reaction. Through hypnosis and/or EFTTM it is possible to change the client's reaction to the desire to smoke and the triggers that keep the smoking habit active. Even though the smoker may have stopped smoking, the habit may still be active. But like most activities, if not used, it tends to fade and disappear.
Weight A hypnosis program for weight reduction will address the client's attitude toward food and their eating behavior to reduce the importance of food as it relates to feelings of well-being. The client's food interests and tastes can be modified to increase the desire for healthy foods with appropriate nutrition, and reduce the desire for foods high in fats and other harmful elements. The client's self-esteem and confidence can be increased and strengthened to attain a positive outlook and ability to make necessary changes. Hypnosis can also help maintain a consistent exercise program.
