Change your Habits – Change your Life
“What the mind can conceive, I can achieve!”
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) issues range from mild to severe and create disturbances that effect our daily lives. People can find themselves from one end of the spectrum to the other. Mild cases may be only noticed a few times a week, whereas a sever PTSD case could actually prove to be disabling.
PTSD is different from many other problems or issues because it begins with an exact stimulant and time. Typically when you examine mild or severe types of ordinary stress it is a combination of issues or problems spread out over a long period of time. For instance, some remain for a few days and others for months or even years. As a result when these reactions do not fade on their own but become more severe, professional help is needed. in other words, the individual needs to change the way they think and respond to the original event or issue.
In a traumatic situation, everyone experiences stress to a certain degree. Unfortunately, there is a difference between normal stress to a traumatic event and PTSD.
PTSD affects over 20 million Americans. In fact, over half of these people are women. Research has shown that 7.8 percent of the American population will experience PTSD in their life. With women, that number grows to 10.4 percent.
When you combine Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFTTM) with hypnosis, you have two dynamic tools to address the Initial Sensitizing Event. The threat from the actual event could be of self or another person. Normally the response from the event stirs up feelings of fear, helplessness, horror or panic. These fears, grief, panic need to be addressed so the individual can live a normal life. A combination of EFT and hypnosis is a dynamic tool to considerably reduce or eliminate emotional issues or problems in a few short sessions rather than months or years.
